Smoked salmon trout is a close relation of salmon. Sea-reared off the West Coast of Scotland, it has a lighter, more delicate taste than traditional smoked salmon. Cured and smoked in the same time-honoured way, it comes in 225g packs of slices, sold in three's. A nice alternative to smoked salmon in the summer months and well worth a try.
